Discovery & Transfer Days

We invite you to spend an afternoon exploring campus and learning about the Western experience! Prospective students and families are welcome to join us for Discovery Days to see campus when classes are in session. Attending this program will give you the opportunity to:

  • Take a campus tour
  • Hear an admissions presentation
  • Question a student/faculty panel
  • View residence halls
  • Meet with academic department representatives 
    (please contact academic departments in advance to make arrangements)
Discovery Days Agenda
12:15pm Check in is located in the Academic Instructional Center West (map)
12:15 to 1:45 Campus tours depart from check-in intermittently until 1:00pm
1:45 to 2:00 Break
2:00 to 3:00 Welcome, Admissions presentation, moderated student and faculty panel

You are invited to participate in the following activities at your own leisure:

3:00 to 4:00pm Fairhaven College open for drop-in questions

3:00 to 4:00pm Visit the Associated Students Outdoor Center
See the bike shop and learn about recreation resources for Western students such as equipment rental and the excursions program

3:00 to 5:00pm View several residence halls
Current students welcome you to visit their rooms to learn about the various on-campus living options

  • Question a student/faculty panel
  • View residence halls
  • Meet with academic department representatives 
    (please contact academic departments in advance to make arrangements)
  • Sit down with an admissions counselor for transfer credit or general admissions advising

Visit the Office of Admissions to discuss transfer requirements and review your transcripts for transferrable credits.

3:00 to 5:00pm Meet with Academic Department Representatives
