About Me
I'm originally from Oahu, Hawai'i but have been lucky enough to experience living in a number of fantastic places, including San Francisco, Chicago, and Seattle. My professional background has largely been in supporting students in college access and attainment.
As a first-generation college graduate, I understand the impact that selecting and attending the right college can make for an individual and for a community. While attending the University of San Francisco I got a degree in history but began a career in student support programming under a mentor who specialized in working with first-generation college students.
I developed a real love for supporting community college students during my time with the Seattle Colleges. I'm thrilled to help those same students continue their educational journeys at Western. I deeply appreciate Western's holistic approach to student success and want to help students explore their many fantastic opportunities forward. I'm here to assist in navigating a big choice and hopefully make it feel like a natural next step.
