Lilly Montgomery
College Major: Professional and Creative Writing, Minors in Communications and Interdisciplinary Honors
About Me
When I left my hometown of Port Townsend to attend college, I knew I would be coming back to the Pacific Northwest. After completing my undergraduate program at CWU, I moved to Bellingham to do just that. With my family close by and the outdoors just a few steps away, I have loved living here every day since.
I graduated from college in 2024, majoring in Professional and Creative Writing and earning minors in Communications and Interdisciplinary Honors. During my college journey, I had the opportunity to explore different subjects that interested me and find my place in a new community. One of the most important experiences I had was the three years I spent working with the Housing and Residence Life department. While I love the fields I studied, this opportunity helped me discover my true passion—people.
I feel lucky to work with students and their support networks to make the first steps towards attending college more accessible. I am beyond excited to help you explore your options for higher education at Western.
When I’m not in the office, I love getting outside and enjoying the gorgeous nature Bellingham has to offer through paddle boarding, swimming, and hiking. On rainy days, you can find me playing video games with friends, reading, or working on a new crochet project at home. Please feel free to reach out with any questions you might have! There is a place for everyone at Western, and I can’t wait to help you find yours.
