About Me
I grew up in a small town in Illinois and attended a liberal arts university in Northeast Missouri plopped down in the middle of a corn field. While I love the Midwest charm and a good casserole, I feel at home surrounded by trees, the water, and the mountains of the Pacific Northwest.
My first role at Western was in the Engineering & Design Department as an advisor for prospective, first-year, and transfer students. Watching students explore Western’s small class sizes, undergraduate research opportunities, and connections through student clubs was the best part of my job. The welcoming Western community, the beautiful city of Bellingham, and the endless opportunities for students are what makes this place a home.
As the Transfer Admissions Advisor, I look forward to working with you as you decide if Western is the right fit for you. Choosing a school can be stressful! Reach out with any questions or concerns you might have!
