About Me
I have worked in international higher education for most of my career, and I love meeting and supporting international students from around the world. Over the years, I have worked at both community colleges and universities and spent several years working in refugee resettlement.
I have lived in three countries and five U.S. states. I love exploring our beautiful state of Washington and traveling around the country and internationally. I have been lucky enough to visit 35 countries and all the continents except Antarctica (yet!). My favorite way to relax and enjoy the natural beauty here in Washington is with a visit to the San Juan Islands.
As the admissions counselor for international students considering attending Western, I will do my best to share what makes Western a great place for international students and help you navigate the sometimes complex process of choosing to live and study in a new country.
