About Me

After moving from western Washington to the eastern part of the state at the ripe age of eleven, returning to attend Western Washington University felt like a homecoming. Tucked away in our lush little corner of the state, I loved my four years at Western, ending in the Spring of 2024. After taking a bit of a tour through our Program of Studies, I graduated with a BA in English - Creative Writing and minors in Humanities: History of Culture and Honors.

During my time at Western, I took advantage of everything our school has to offer. I joined the Honors College, which connected me with other students passionate about engaging in big conversations. I started working as a Peer Mentor in the Tutoring Center at the end of my first year and soon became a Lead. Attending Western were some of the best years of my life: I was able to find community, engage meaningfully in academics and career opportunities, and enjoy a supportive environment while transitioning into my adult life.

Outside of my wonderful job, I love to spend time out in Bellingham. We have some amazing restaurants, shops, cafes, and recreational activities—there’s always something to do! If I’m not out on the town, you’ll find me with my nose stuck in a book somewhere.

Please feel free to reach out to me with any questions or concerns you have about our school and application process. I look forward to helping you join our Western family! Go Viks!
