About This Program

The Entrepreneurship and Innovation Distinguished Scholars program brings incoming first-year and transfer students from a variety of academic interests who have demonstrated a passion for experiential learning and entrepreneurship through creative and innovative means. Scholars are selected based on information provided in the application for admission to Western.

  • Passion for entrepreneurship and innovation

Benefits

  • Guaranteed seat in ENTR 246 (Introduction to Entrepreneurship) during Fall Quarter and ENTR 346 (Intermediate Entrepreneurship and Innovation Experience) during Winter Quarter.

  • Accelerated Admission into the Entrepreneurship minor, an interdisciplinary, university-wide program
  • Special opportunities to interact with professors, departmental advisory board members, and members of student clubs
