About This Program
The Entrepreneurship and Innovation Distinguished Scholars program brings incoming first-year and transfer students from a variety of academic interests who have demonstrated a passion for experiential learning and entrepreneurship through creative and innovative means. Scholars are selected based on information provided in the application for admission to Western.

- Passion for entrepreneurship and innovation
Deadline Extended - Apply by March 20
This program is exclusively for admitted Western students; you will need to log in to your Admitted Student Portal to register.
Benefits
- A cohort experience with other students interested in entrepreneurship, innovation, and change-making
- Guaranteed seat in ENTR 246 (Introduction to Entrepreneurship) during Fall Quarter and ENTR 346 (Intermediate Entrepreneurship and Innovation Experience) during Winter Quarter.
- Consideration for a fellowship position after successfully completing your first year.
- Special events, including off-campus field trips and networking
- Accelerated Admission into the Entrepreneurship minor, an interdisciplinary, university-wide program
- Special opportunities to interact with professors, departmental advisory board members, and members of student clubs
