Why I chose Western
I wanted to be around people who were passionate, kind, and authentic, and I knew that I could find students like that at Western.
An experience or class at Western that made me go "Wow!"
Geology 101 with Doug Clark surprised me with how engaged and excited a science class could make me. I had fun while learning about the world around me in an applicable way.
My advice for incoming or prospective students
Give yourself time in the day or week for (self) reflection and adjustment. What changed the most for me when moving to college was my own personal growth. Taking the time to find what was best for me and building the routine and skillset to think about that and apply it helped me thrive more than I could have ever dreamed.
