Why I chose Western
I chose Western because I wanted to be far enough from home so I could have my freedom, while also still being able to go back whenever I could. I really liked Western's campus, and as someone who didn't know what to study, they offered a variety of options to choose from.
What I ultimately hope my education helps me achieve
I hope to achieve a stable job in something I genuinely enjoy doing, as well as helping my parents achieve their goals and aspirations
My advice for incoming or prospective students
My advice to incoming students is that it's okay if you don't know what you want to study! Everyone is going at their own pace, there is no rush to graduate in the 4 years. I would also say that if you end up changing your mind later on, that is also okay! I know it seems hard and scary, but getting out of your comfort zone is a great way to start meeting new people around campus! Once you take that first step, the rest is easy!
