What I'm passionate about and why
I am passionate about Environmental Science because I live for the outdoors and want to see it change for the better rather than for the worst. I was raised outside, backpacking, biking, and skiing around my hometown and I learned to value the outdoors and the peaceful serenity that it brings to oneself. I want to keep this feeling not only for myself, but to preserve it for future generations and this is only done through conservation and Environmental Science-y stuff! Woo Hoo!
What I like most about Western
What I like most about Western is the community feel and the beautiful people who choose to call campus their home. Western's community is strong, vibrant and positive, and makes walking to class each morning fun. I love running into people who I know, yet still seeing new faces every day. The people who attend Western are also some of the most positive, passionate and driven people that I know, and I am inspired being around them every day.
What I like most about Bellingham
What I like most about Bellingham is the proximity to both the water and the mountains. Boulevard Park downtown is one of my favorite spots, and I love bringing a group of friends and jumping off of the dock into the bay. On the other side, Mt. Baker is only an hour and a half away, so I get to experience some world-class skiing in a jaw-dropping landscape.
