Interests

I love to sing, act, and dance around the room with my friends. I also love cooking and making meals with friends and family. Lately I've been getting into different forms of crafting. I have always known how to knit and sew, but I've been getting more into crocheting, cross-stitching, reupholstering, things like that. I love to travel and got to spend my gap year traveling around the world, which was an amazing experience for me!

Why I chose Western

Throughout the time I was doing my college applications, I had my mind set on a different school. I originally applied to Western as my backup, but after I toured the campus, attended Admitted Student Day, and learned more about the schools that accepted me, I realized that Western had everything I was looking for in a school. I loved the smaller class sizes and how it is a mid-sized liberal arts university. I also started to fall more in love with Bellingham, because it reminded me of a smaller version of Seattle.

My advice for incoming or prospective students

Be true to and honest with yourself on what you want from the college you hope to attend. I know there will be a lot of people trying to offer you their opinions on where you should go, but at the end of the day, you will be the one going to and attending college, so really take the time to figure out which one feels right for you.
