What I like most about Bellingham

There's always something to do! It has a good mix between the outdoors and the city, with lots of local businesses and explore and support. The city and the university and also interconnected, so it doesn't feel like you are alienated. There are also plenty of markets and events that take place over the seasons, so the city is always changing.

What I like most about Western

The school was really accommodating with my transfer credits, and I love how largely intimate campus feels. The faculty are really nice and understanding, and they are devoted to furthering our education and passions. Western also really feels like a community where you can express yourself and have fun!

My advice for incoming or prospective students

Don't feel like you have to pick a set major or career path. College is for exploration and discovery, and nothing is ever set in stone. It's okay to not fully know what your future will be, but don't give up and always try your hardest.
