What I'm passionate about and why

As a marine biology major, I'm passionate about everything ocean related. I love learning about ocean animals and humans' relationship to them. I also love being on or in the water kayaking, paddle boarding, and scuba diving when I have the time.

What I like most about Bellingham

I love how easy it is to get around town as a student. Buses come every 10 or so minutes on campus and are free for students, so I can explore all around Bellingham whenever I want. The bus can take me South down to Fairhaven to my favorite bookstore or into downtown to some awesome coffee shops.

My advice for incoming or prospective students

Don't be afraid to talk to people and make connections! Western is so awesome for providing students with opportunities to get together and meet new people so take advantage of all of them!
