What I like most about Bellingham

What I like most about Bellingham is its calm atmosphere. The community here is friendly and supportive, and there are always local events, farmers markets, and small businesses that make the city feel lively but not overwhelming. I also appreciate how close it is to nature it makes it a peaceful and refreshing place to live.

An experience or class at Western that made me go "Wow!"

A class that made me go “Wow!” was Sociology 366 at Western Washington University. It was the most challenging class I have taken, but also the most influential, as it pushed me to think critically and changed the way I understand society as a whole. This class ultimately inspired me to turn my Sociology minor into a major!

My advice for incoming or prospective students

My advice for incoming students is to avoid comparing your journey in higher education to those around you. Everyone comes from different backgrounds, has unique goals, and moves at their own pace. Focus on your own growth and trust that your path and experiences are valid.
