What I like most about Bellingham
Something I love about Bellingham is the music scene! There are so many amazing local bands that span a variety of genres, so there's something for everyone. Along with the music, the venues and houses that the bands play at are also really cool, and I've had so much fun discovering and experiencing all of it during my time in Bellingham.
An experience or class at Western that made me go "Wow!"
A class at Western that I thoroughly enjoyed was my art history class. I took the class as a part of a requirement for my minor and didn't think too much of it. However, after finishing the course and relfecting on my time in the class, the material I learned was so interesting and fun to learn about. There’s so much chaos and depth involved in the art world, and it was fun to get some insight on it, especially since a lot of my classes are more STEM focused.
What I ultimately hope my education helps me achieve
In attending Western, I hope to finish my undergrad with a major in kinesiology and go to graduate school for physical therapy. My overall goal, as far as my employment goes, is to become a physical therapist and practice abroad, ideally in countries of higher need.
