We invite you to spend an afternoon exploring campus and learning about the Western experience! Prospective students and families are welcome to join us for Discovery Days to see campus when classes are in session.
Attending this program will give you the opportunity to:
- Take a campus tour
- Attend an admissions presentation and student/faculty panel
- View residence halls
- Meet with academic department representatives

Check in early and participate in our Academic Department Open House! Many of our departments are open and available for you to visit during this self-led open house and ask questions of staff members. Contacting Departments in advance is encouraged. View the Academic Department Open House Options below for the most updated list of participating Departments.*Please note that Department availability may change and some options are by appointment only and will need to be coordinated prior to your visit to campus. If you are interested in a specific Department, please email the Office of Admissions at email@example.com to see if it will be scheduled for your visit day.
|12:00pm-1:30pm||Grab Lunch on Campus if you like!||Have some time before the panel? Feel free to eat lunch in one of our dining halls or at any of our multiple eateries on campus. Ask your tour guide for on-campus food recommendations after your tour and plan for a little extra time as this is when most students are eating on campus. Dining Halls are $9.22 + tax per person for all-you-can-eat!|

|Visit the Ethnic Student Center and the Outdoor Center to learn more about communities on campus and outdoor trips and opportunities at Western – including information about our waterfront Lakewood facility!|
Freshman Admissions presentation and moderated student and faculty Q&A panel from 1:30 - 2:30pm, followed by an optional Financial Aid Presentation from 2:30 - 3:00pm.

Talk with current student Housing Ambassadors about what campus life is like in the Residence Halls! We have several residence halls open for you to visit.
|4:00pm-4:30pm||Wade King Recreation Center Tours||
Take a short tour of our Wade King Recreation Center with current students. Tours leave every 10 minutes.
