College Major: Human Services, minor in Education and Social Justice

About Me

I’m from Bellingham WA and originally from Wrens, Georgia. I moved to the Pacific Northwest when I was 16 and attended Squalicum High School in Bellingham, WA. I graduated from Western in the Fall of 2020. I majored in Human Services with a minor in Education and Social Justice through our Woodring College of Education. As a fourth-generation Western alum, I knew from the very beginning that being at WWU was the perfect place for me. From the incredible people you meet every day to our beautiful campus, Western and Bellingham are truly special.

While a student at Western, I was a Student Admissions Representative leading campus tours and working at the front desk. I also worked for the Alumni Association attending various campus events throughout the Bellingham community and served as a Student Senator for my college. There are endless opportunities to get out and involved on campus and around the Bellingham community. I was able to work on research projects with professors, continue my musical roots singing with on and off-campus clubs, attended leadership conferences, and constantly networking with people from all over the state.

During my free time, I love exploring our community and enjoying all that Bellingham has to offer. You can always find me somewhere in Bellingham drinking lots of coffee, eating out at one of Bellingham’s many restaurants, and admiring our town and everyone in it. As your Admissions Counselor, please don’t hesitate to reach at any time with questions/concerns as I’m eager to make sure you are set up to succeed here at Western. Welcome to the WWU Family!
