Location Programs

Degree options for your schedule

Western offers an array of flexible degree and certificate programs designed for working adults at a variety of locations throughout the Puget Sound as well as online.

Which application should I use?

Most programs require a separate Program Application in addition to the university’s Transfer & Post-baccalaureate Application for Location Program Admission. Visit the Location Programs website to learn more about specific program offerings and requirements.

International students applying to a Location Program in Bellingham must also complete the Outreach and Continuing Education International Supplement [pdf]. Note: Site locations other than Bellingham are not currently open to international students.

Former Western Location Program students returning to the same program must complete the Returning Student Application. While a PDF version of Returning Student Application is available, we recommend you apply online for faster processing.

Admission requirements

Each Location Program will have specific admission requirements. In addition, Western’s general admission requirements apply to all Location Programs. Minimum requirements for transfer admission include a 2.00 cumulative transferable GPA and a 2.00 in the quarters prior to application review and enrollment, though most Location Programs have higher minimum GPA requirements. Because the number of qualified applicants exceeds the number of available enrollment spaces, meeting minimum requirements does not guarantee admission.
