Degree options for your schedule
Western offers an array of flexible degree and certificate programs designed for working adults at a variety of locations throughout the Puget Sound as well as online.
Which application should I use?
Most programs require a separate Program Application in addition to the university’s Extended Education Transfer & Post-baccalaureate Application for Admission. Visit the Extended Education Programs website to learn more about specific program offerings and requirements.
International students applying to an Extended Education program in Bellingham must also complete the Extended Education International Supplement [pdf]. Note: Site locations other than Bellingham are not currently open to international students.
Former Western Extended Education program students returning to the same Extended Education program must complete the Extended Education Program Returning Student Application [pdf].
Each Extended Education program will have specific admission requirements. In addition, Western’s general admission requirements apply to all Extended Education programs. Minimum requirements for transfer admission include a 2.00 cumulative transferable GPA and a 2.00 in the quarters prior to application review and enrollment, though most extended education programs have higher minimum GPA requirements. Because the number of qualified applicants exceeds the number of available enrollment spaces, meeting minimum requirements does not guarantee admission.
