We recognize your achievements
Western offers are a variety of scholarship opportunities to both new and continuing students. Scholarships are awarded based on academic achievement, leadership potential, special talents, and multicultural achievement. The majority of scholarships are awarded to students entering fall quarter.
Freshmen are automatically considered for merit-based and activity scholarships as well as many of our donor sponsored scholarships based on information provided in their application for admission. No separate application is needed to apply for these awards. Learn more about Freshman Resident Scholarships.
Non-resident freshmen are considered for merit-based and activity scholarships based on the information provided in their application for admission. Western Undergraduate Exchange (WUE) Scholarships are available to select students from participating western states, and similar awards are available for other out-of-state students.
