Why I chose Western
I love Bellingham and the surrounding area. I think it's gorgeous, and there's a lot to do without it feeling too crowded. I also think the campus is beautiful, and the teaching program here is so well renowned that I felt very comfortable making my decision to come to Western.
Why I chose my major
I’ve ultimately known that I want to do teaching to some degree for about a year and a half now, and I remember that some of my biggest influences were teachers that I had at a young age, specifically my 2nd Grade teacher Mrs. Cablayan. I hope that I can make that same impact on students’ lives some day.
