What I ultimately hope my education helps me achieve
I have always been a quiet and nervous person until college. My experiences here have really helped me break out of my shell and do super scary things. I regret not trying a lot of things growing up, but I don’t want fear to hold me back anymore, so besides my Bachelors of course, I want to leave my education and time at Western looking back and going, “wow, I really did it.”
My advice for incoming or prospective students
Put yourself out there! Starting any new thing is super scary and new environments can be so overwhelming, but remember that everyone was once in your position. Regardless of where we come from, we are all here now so talk to your peers, professors, roommates or whoever you want to talk to! Who knows, maybe you’ll meet some super cool people.
