What I like most about Western
Western offers a really cool and unique culture; it's a place where I feel really accepted and people are eager to make new friends and connections, so I've been able to develop a really tight-knit community here. It's also the "perfect" size for me, because you can take classes in your typical lecture hall style format but it's also small enough where you can easily take classes that are on the smaller side and allow you to make more intimate connections with your professors and classmates.
My advice for incoming or prospective students
Get involved in the activities that Western and Bellingham have to offer and make some new connections and memories. There really is something for everybody to enjoy here, so put yourself out there and take the college experience by the proverbial horns to make the most of it!
