What I like most about Bellingham
I love Bellingham because it really feels like a tight-knit community. Being a college student and not having a car, I am still able to enjoy everything the town has to offer because of how walkable it is and how accessible the local transit is around the city. I am constantly going to downtown Bellingham to enjoy the amazing restaurants and local businesses. There is something for everyone in Bellingham and it doesn't take long to feel like a local.
Why I chose Western
WWU was the only college I wanted to go to. I have been wanting to attend WWU since I was in middle school because of the beautiful campus and the lively community. I didn't want to leave Washington, and I feel like I am a perfect distance from home, being about an hour away from my hometown. When I'm not enjoying the beautiful Bellingham area, I am able to go home on weekends and visit my family.
